At Glucolyzer, we're committed to revolutionizing glucose monitoring for diabetic patients with our innovative non-invasive device, improving safety and health outcomes.

Risks of current technology

In the United States alone, there are 37.3 million Americans who have diabetes and require frequent monitoring of blood glucose levels.

Current technologies on the market include continuous glucose monitoring devices, insulin pumps, and skin patches which provide to be invasive and costly, especially for individuals with diabetes who need to monitor their glucose levels regularly.

Why Glucolyzer

Our innovative approach utilizes a non-invasive device to measure glucose levels, prioritizing safety and efficiency.

A non-invasive glucose monitoring tool

Glucolyzer is creating a noninvasive way to measure glucose levels via breath analysis. Similar to how alcohol breathalyzers detect blood alcohol concentration through the form of a breath, we are developing a breathalyzer that detects blood glucose levels as a more safe and accessible alternative to current glucometers.

Current research indicates that Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in the breath can be correlated with diabetic states and blood glucose levels. We are in the early stages of prototyping our device by testing with chemo-resistive sensors. A mouthpiece tube would connect the exhaled breath to the sensor and calibration of chemical compound levels along with data acquisition will be needed. Furthermore, we would connect it together with an interface screen and power source.
